Let’s listen carefully!

Luke 9:43-45

“Listen carefully to what I am about to tell you: The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men.”

Luke 9:44 (NIV)

Jesus, admired by all, announces to his disciples that He will be handed over to men, but they do not understand and they’re afraid to ask him.

Human incomprehension in the face of divine mystery is common, but prayer and faith are means of receiving revelation and strength to follow Christ.

In Christian life, this reflection invites us to trust in divine providence, especially in times of stress. It calls us to a deep relationship with Christ, who strengthens us to live according to his will, even when we do not understand everything.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to not harden my heart or fear difficult truths. Give me the humility to accept your way, the faith to trust in your plan and the courage to follow you always. May my life reflect your love and devotion, and may I always seek your will with an open heart. Amen.

¡Prestemos atención!

Lucas 9,43-45

Presten mucha atención a lo que les voy a decir: El Hijo del hombre va a ser entregado en manos de los hombres.

Lucas 9.44

Jesús, admirado por todos, anuncia a sus discípulos que será entregado en manos de los hombres, pero ellos no comprenden y temen preguntarle.

La incomprensión humana frente al misterio divino es común, pero la oración y la fe son medios para recibir la revelación y la fortaleza para seguir a Cristo.

En la vida cristiana, esta reflexión nos invita a confiar en la providencia divina, especialmente en los momentos de tensión. Nos llama a una relación profunda con Cristo, que nos fortalece para vivir según su voluntad, aun cuando no comprendamos todo.

Oración: Señor Jesús, ayúdame a no endurecer mi corazón ni temer las verdades difíciles. Dame la humildad para aceptar tu camino, la fe para confiar en tu plan y la valentía para seguirte en todo momento. Que mi vida refleje tu amor y entrega, y que siempre busque tu voluntad con un corazón abierto. Amén.
