LOVE WITHOUT LIMITS

Luke 6:27-38

“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.

Luke 6: 32 (NIV)

Loving is a radical challenge, and if we deeply understand the meaning of the word love, it would be easy to love without limits. We daily seek to receive more than we give, but we do so from the desire to be reciprocated. Jesus invites us to love our enemies, to bless those who curse us, and to pray for those who insult us in order to transform our hearts and our actions, promoting peace and reconciliation in our relationships. Loving should be the task of every follower of Jesus, because there is no merit in giving to those who give to you and loving those who love you if the true test of our character and faith lies in loving even those who harm us. Practicing love without limits requires courage and humility, but it allows us to live in peace and harmony with others, showing the love of God who loves us without limits from the beginning.

Prayer: God, give us wisdom to love without limits and without merit. Amen.

Amar sin límites

Lucas 6:27-38

Si amáis a los que os aman, ¿qué mérito tenéis?

Lucas 6: 32

Amar es un desafío radical y si conocemos a profundidad el significado de la palabra amor sería fácil amar sin límites. A diario buscamos recibir más de lo que damos, pero lo hacemos desde el deseo de ser retribuidos.Jesús invita amar a nuestros enemigos, a bendecir a quienes nos maldicen y a orar por quienes nos ultrajan para así transformar nuestro corazón y nuestras acciones, promoviendo la paz y la reconciliación en nuestras relaciones.Amar debe ser tarea de todo seguidor de Jesús, porque no hay mérito en dar a quien te da y amar a quien te ama si la verdadera prueba de nuestro carácter y fe radica en amar incluso a quienes nos hacen daño.Practicar el amor sin límites requiere valentía y humildad, pero nos permite vivir en paz y en armonía con los demás, mostrando el amor de Dios quien nos ama sin límites desde el principio.

Oración: Dios danos sabiduría para amar sin límites y sin méritos. Amén.
