“THE CRAZY ONE”

Luke 10:38-42

The Lord answered, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and distracted by many things. One thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the better part. It won’t be taken away from her.

Luke 10. 41-42 (CEB)

There is a girl they call “crazy” because she doesn’t want to help around the house, she doesn’t want to study outside of the school, and she only eats very little, but even being like this she always seems to be happy.

One day they saw “the crazy one” in the park teaching children, the children who could not attend school. She might be crazy but she has good feelings! Another day they saw “the crazy one” with good feelings sharing her food with the poor elderly people. It seems like she is not so crazy! Then they saw the “one who is not so crazy” in the church, in worship, teaching the children there as well, cooking and praying. She is not crazy; she is a Christian!

The Christian who is not crazy knows that in her house her siblings can help, she learns so well at school in order to share it later, she divides her bread in half without thinking about it. She knows how to share the love that God gives us!

Prayer: Thank you, God, for allowing us to share your love. Don’t let our duties clutter and worry our minds, but select the better part, that is to listen to your word and do good. Amen.

“LOCA”

Lucas 10, 38-42

“Respondiendo Jesús, le dijo: Marta, Marta, afanada y turbada estas con muchas cosas, pero solo una cosa es necesaria; y María ha escogido la buena parte, la cual no le será quitada”

Lc 10. 41-42

Hay una muchacha a la que llaman loca, no quiere ayudar en su casa, no quiere estudiar fuera de la escuela, come poco y aun así siempre luce feliz.

Un día vieron a “la loca” en el parque enseñando a los niños, los que no podían asistir a la escuela ¡Estará loca pero tiene buenos sentimientos! Otro día vieron a “la loca” de buenos sentimientos compartir su comida con los ancianos pobres ¡Parece que no está tan loca! Vieron a “la no tan loca” en la iglesia, en el culto, enseñando a los niños allí también, cocinando, orando. ¡No está loca, es cristiana!

La cristiana que no está loca sabe que en su casa sus hermanos pueden ayudar, aprende todo bien en la escuela para luego poder compartirlo, divide su pan a la mitad sin pensarlo. ¡Sabe cómo compartir el amor que Dios nos da!

Oración: Gracias Dios por permitirnos compartir tu amor, no permitas que los deberes afanen y turben nuestra mente, elegimos la buena parte que es escuchar tu palabra y hacer el bien. Amén.
