HEALED BY JESUS

Matthew 9: 18-26

but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live. . . And instantly the woman was made well.”

Mateo 9: 18b; 22b

As part of Jesus’ ministry let us remember his spirit–healer and restorer of life. Many people were coming to him seeking to be touched, raised from bondage, lifted from the ties that they suffered from their physical and spiritual health, abandoned on the road, isolated because of their condition, exposed to the scorn and neglect of those who passed by unnoticed.

This time, the healing spirit of Jesus was moved to mercy by two women: for healing from paternal faith and from their own will.

There is healing for all women, too; there is restoration of life for those who remain anonymous. The healing spirit of Jesus not only manifests itself in the face of illness, but also to give meaning to life based on faith, dignity and the freedom of being women in the image of God.

Faith saves us through our own will, through the intercession of others for our lives.

Prayer: Our God, we pray for healing for our women, for those who live a spirituality much removed from your will. Amen.

SANADAS POR JESUS

Mateo 9: 18-26

“Ven y pon tu mano sobre ella, y vivirá (…) y la mujer quedó sana en aquel momento”

Mateo 9: 18b; 22b

 

Como parte del ministerio de Jesús reconocemos su espíritu sanador y restaurador de la vida. Muchas personas venían a Él buscando ser tocadas, levantadas de las ataduras que desde la salud física y espiritual sufrían. Abandonados en el camino, aisladas por su condición, expuestos al desprecio y descuido de quienes pasaban inadvertidos.

 

Esta vez, el espíritu sanador de Jesús estaba movido a misericordia para dos mujeres. Sanación desde la fe paternal y desde la voluntad propia.

 

Hay sanación también para todas las mujeres, hay restauración de la vida para aquellas que permanecen en el anonimato. El espíritu sanador de Jesús no solo se manifiesta ante la enfermedad, sino también para dar sentido de vida desde la fe, la dignidad y la libertad de ser mujeres a imagen de Dios.

 

La fe nos salva desde nuestra propia voluntad, desde la intercesión de otros por nuestras vidas. Lo importantes es reconocer que en Dios todos tenemos el derecho a la dignidad humana y al amor.

 

Oración: Dios nuestro, pedimos sanación para nuestras mujeres. Para aquellas que viven una espiritualidad muy lejos de su voluntad. Amén.
