ACT WISELY

Matthew 13: 24-30

“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.”

Evil has always existed in our kingdom, and it constantly stalks us. However, it is important to act wisely when situations become difficult and evil envelops us. Sometimes it becomes quite complicated for us to make the best decision or to overcome challenges without harming ourselves or someone else. But Jesus invites us to be patient and calm in the face of those moments and problems that can lead us to dead ends. It calls for vigilance, to not let our guard down, to watch and take care of ourselves from anything that could tempt or affect our lives and relationships with others. It calls us to caution and to the right decision-making in the face of adversity; and it expects from us the wisdom of the good sower who takes care of his harvest.

Prayer: Blessed God, grant us your peace and justice. Help us to make the right decisions. Be the light in every difficult situation that comes our way. In the name of your Son, Jesus, we ask you. Amen.

ACTUAR CON SABIDURÍA

Mateo 13: 24-30

“...El Reino de los cielos es semejante al hombre que siembra buena simiente en su campo”

En nuestro reino siempre ha existido lo malo y constantemente nos acecha. Sin embargo es importante actuar con sabiduría cuando las situaciones se vuelvan difíciles y el mal nos envuelve. A veces se nos hace muy complicado tomar la mejor decisión o superar los retos sin perjudicarnos ni perjudicar a nadie. Pero Jesús nos invita a tomar paciencia y calma ante aquellos momentos y problemas que nos conducen a callejones sin salida. Hace un llamado a la vigilia, a no bajar la guardia, velar y cuidarnos de todo aquello que pudiera tentar o afectar nuestras vidas y relaciones con otros y otras. Nos convoca a la precaución y a la justa toma de decisiones ante las adversidades; y espera de nosotras y nosotros la sabiduría del buen sembrador que cuida de su cosecha.

Oración: Bendito Dios, haznos llegar tu paz y tu justicia. Ayúdanos a tomar las decisiones más acertadas. Se luz en cada situación difícil que se nos presente. En nombre de tu Hijo Jesús te lo pedimos, Amén.
