THERE IS STRENGTH IN JESUS

Matthew 8, 28-34

And he said to them, “Go!” So they came out and entered the swine; and suddenly, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and perished in the water.

Matthew 8.32 (NRSV)

We often confront situations which can appear to overwhelm us or fill us with fear, problems or difficult circumstances. In the midst of these torments we can remember that Jesus holds power over every destructive power. He can set our lives free from fear, anxiety or any spiritual oppression.

This story also invites us to trust in the power of Christ to transform even the most desperate situations. No matter how difficult the problem or challenge we confront, Jesus is stronger. His authority carries freedom and peace.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, remind us that in you we can find freedom and peace in the midst of the most compelling difficulties. Help us to trust your power to overcome fear and the forces of evil in our lives. May your light illuminate every obscure corner and fill us every day with hope. Amen.

HAY PODER EN JESÚS

Mateo 8, 28-34

Él les dijo: Id. Y ellos salieron, y se fueron a aquel hato de cerdos; y he aquí, todo el hato de cerdos se precipitó en el mar por un despeñadero, y perecieron en las aguas.

Muchas veces enfrentamos situaciones que parecen desbordarnos o llenarnos de miedo, problemas, tentaciones o circunstancias difíciles. En medio de esas tormentas, podemos recordar que Jesús tiene autoridad sobre todo poder destructivo. Él puede liberar nuestras vidas del temor, la ansiedad o cualquier opresión espiritual.

La historia también nos invita a confiar en el poder de Cristo para transformar incluso las situaciones más desesperadas. No importa cuán difícil sea el problema o el desafío que enfrentamos; Jesús es más poderoso. Su autoridad trae libertad y paz.

Oración:  Señor Jesús. Reconocemos que en ti podemos encontrar libertad y paz en medio de las dificultades más apremiantes. Ayúdanos a confiar en tu poder para vencer el temor y las fuerzas del mal en nuestras vidas. Que tu luz ilumine cada rincón oscuro y nos llene cada día de esperanza. Amén.
