How do we know that God dwells in us?

Luke 11:15-26

But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his palace, his possessions are safe [...] [...] Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

Luke 11:20-21,23

This may be one of the questions to reflect on in today's world, where for many there is no presence of God.

However, faith in Christ Jesus must be strengthened and multiplied amid so many unnecessary weapons and unjust global bipolarity.

Today more than ever, we are called to bear witness to the God who dwells with his people, inviting them to participate in the healing of this world: casting out the demons of sadness and apathy that limit living in hope and peace; expelling from our “bodies” the violent demon that corrodes, disturbs sensitivity and empathy, and judges when sitting at the table of difference.

We must be a strong people who faithfully safeguard the riches of the Kingdom that God has taught us. We must be aware of our responsibility to show—in this world—a different way of relating in unity, joy, and communion.

God dwells in all that is good and edifying!

Prayer: Divinity that blossoms in the barren land when there is no hope, allow your people to rejoice in your presence, which restores and strengthens, so that we may be courageous and honest in the beautiful task of proclaiming your glorious Kingdom in this groaning world. Amen.

¿Cómo saber que Dios habita en nosotros/as?

Lucas 11:15-26

 

Mas si por el dedo de Dios echo yo fuera los demonios, ciertamente el reino de Dios ha llegado a vosotros. Cuando el hombre fuerte armado guarda su palacio, en paz está lo que posee[...] [...]El que no es conmigo, contra mí es; y el que conmigo no recoge, desparrama.

Lucas 11:20-21,23

Esta puede ser una de las cuestiones para reflexionar en los días actuales; en un mundo dónde para muchos no hay presencia de Dios.

Sin embargo, la fe en Cristo Jesús, debe fortalecerse y multiplicarse en medio de tantas armas innecesarias y la injusta bipolaridad global.

Hoy más que nunca estamos llamados/as a dar testimonio del Dios que habita junto a su pueblo, invitándoles a co-participar en la sanación de este mundo: sacando fuera los demonios de la tristeza y la desidia que limitan vivir en esperanza y paz; expulsando de los "cuerpos" el violento demonio que corroe, que perturba la sensibilidad y la empatía, y que juzga al sentarse a la mesa de lo distinto.

Hay que ser pueblo fuerte que resguarde fielmente las riquezas del Reino que Dios nos ha enseñado. Debemos ser conscientes de la responsabilidad que tenemos de mostrar - en este mundo- la manera diferente de relacionarse en unidad, gozo y comunión.

¡Dios habita en todo lo que es bueno y edifica!

Oración: Divinidad que floreces en lo árido cuando no hay esperanza; permite que tu pueblo se goce en tu presencia, que restaura y fortalece, para ser valientes y honestos en la hermosa tarea de proclamar tu Reino glorioso en este mundo que gime. Amén.
