Happy to Hear the Counselor
Luke 11:27-28
And he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it.”
Luke 11:28
Someone once said that “those who do not listen to advice do not live to old age,” alluding to the fact that if you want to live a long life, it’s important to listen and pay attention to recommendations that offer help in making decisions or suggestions to act in a certain way.
As Christians, we must always listen to the wise counsel of God, our Great Counselor, who always has words of abundant life, peace, and justice for all.
Life is hectic, but just as children, teenagers, and young people need to listen to the experiences and testimonies of those who love them and want to guide them in their daily lives, we who follow Christ should feel happy because God also loves us and insists that we listen to the warmth of his voice, his tender Word and good news.
Today we are happy because we cherish the wisdom contained in the counsel of God, revealed in Jesus Christ. However, we recognize that to be faithful disciples of Jesus, it is not enough to listen to his Word; we must also have the courage to live it.
Prayer: Blessed Incarnate Word, who teaches with tenderness, thank you for your insistence on our well-being. Happy are we who love you and decide to collaborate in your beautiful mission for this world! In the name of Christ, Amen.

Felices de escuchar al Consejero
Lucas 11: 27-28
