The Search That Leads to Worship

Matthew 2:1-12

On entering the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother; and they knelt down and paid him homage. Then, opening their treasure chests, they offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

The revelation of Christ is not limited to one people, but reaches all nations. The magi represent those who, even from afar, sincerely seek the truth and find the answer in Jesus. The star is a symbol of divine guidance: God leads those who seek him with a humble heart.

The adoration of the magi teaches us that encountering Christ demands total commitment. Remembering it is not enough; we must prostrate ourselves and offer him the best of our lives. Their gifts–gold, frankincense and myrrh–reveal Jesus’ identity as King, God, and Savior.

Today, we are invited to follow the light of Christ in the midst of our searchings and to dedicate our hearts to hum. He is the light that illuminates our lives and the entire world.

Prayer: Jeus, thank you for your light that guides us in the midst of darkness. May your reign be show in us. Amen.

La Búsqueda que Conduce a la Adoración

Mateo 2, 1-12

Y al entrar en la casa, vieron al niño con su madre María, y postrándose, lo adoraron; y abriendo sus tesoros, le ofrecieron presentes: oro, incienso y mirra.

La revelación de Cristo no está limitada a un pueblo, sino que alcanza a todas las naciones. Los magos representan a quienes, aun desde lejos, buscan con sinceridad la verdad y encuentran en Jesús la respuesta. La estrella es símbolo de la guía divina: Dios conduce a quienes le buscan con corazón humilde.

La adoración de los magos nos enseña que el encuentro con Cristo exige entrega total. No basta con reconocerlo; debemos postrarnos y ofrecerle lo mejor de nuestra vida. Sus dones —oro, incienso y mirra— revelan la identidad de Jesús como Rey, Dios y Salvador.

Hoy, somos invitados a seguir la luz de Cristo en medio de nuestras búsquedas y a entregarle nuestro corazón. Él es la esperanza que ilumina nuestras vidas y el mundo entero.

Oración: Jesús, gracias porque tu luz nos guía en medio de la oscuridad. Que tu Reino sea reconocido en nosotros. Amén.
